I didn’t decide to study plants until quite late on.

I was studying a very broad Biology degree which had a wide range of modules, everything from marine biology, biochemistry, the environment, animals and plants.

I had a very inspiring lecturer named Prof. John Bryant. He was a plant scientist, but he also ran the courses about Research and ethics.

Me got me interested and inspired to do and combine both plants and research!

I was so interested that I enjoyed it and did very very well, in a plant project I worked on! A few years down the line and I’m a Scientist/ Plant Researcher myself!

Everybody has a different story, but there is mine! Who knows what might capture your heart and imagination!?
