People have shown(and not just in Jurassic Park), that dinosaurs laid, hatched from and ate eggs. This was long before humans and domesticated chickens as we know them.

So in short my answer is that the Egg came first!

Also, there is a well known birthday card which suggests an answer to this riddle, i won’t go into details here, but keep an eye out for it next time you’re in Clintons!
