      Hello 🙂

      It depends when you count the start date! Since I left school I have been doing science for 7 and a half years now! Wow I hadn’t calculated that before and it seems a long time!

      So what I did was pick science subjects at A-level (Biology, Chemistry and Geography with AS Maths) then did a 3 year Biology degree at uni. Then doing a PhD (aka a doctorate) took me 4 years (although you get paid to do this so it’s not so much like school/uni!) and I just started my first proper job as a research scientist! I still feel like there’s a lot I don’t know though, but you can learn on the job!
