      Yes! Brazil nut trees are found in the Amazon rainforest. The nuts grow in enormous pods which look like this:

      However Brazil is not the largest global producer of Brazil nuts – 50% of all of the worlds Brazil nuts are produced in Bolivia.

      Also random fact: apparently it is illegal to cut down a Brazil nut tree in Brazil!

      Yes, they are found in rainforests such as the amazon rainforest.

      Growing nuts that big needs a lot of energy. Rainforests often have a lot of nutrients in the soil and live in warm regions near the equator. This is why the trees get so big, and also why the Brazil nuts are able to grow so big compared to other nuts you might get.

      Yes, Brazil Nut trees are from South America, and often found on the banks of the river Amazon in the rain forest.
