I was very very lucky to have been able to study and make a life out of something which I am very very interested in.
My parents, would have done their best to help me whatever I chose to do, In science or otherwise. they continue to do so. (Thanks Mum and Dad)
When I was young I visited Museums with them, and played in the garden. Even at a young age, all these things played their part in helping me develop such interests.
They were very supportive and provided lots of encouragement for me when I was at school. They even proof-read my application for University! This helped me make the best impression I could. Now, a few years later they are proud to have a Scientist in the family, even if they no longer fully understand the work that I do!
