Question: why do plant use co2 for photosynthesis ?

Plants use co2 for photosynthesis because it is available in the air on earth.
The carbon of carbon dioxide, is also the carbon which makes up the sugars to build plants (these sugars don’t taste sweet)
The sun provides the energy for the plant to break up the carbon dioxide and allow the plant to use the carbon to grow! This is a long chemical process, but it is worth it!
This is one of the most fascinating things, we’d be lost without plants!
