• Question: IS Time travelling possible?

      Physicists have been debating this using the fact that speed = distance / time, thinking maybe if we can manipulate the speed and distance we can travel in time.

      In reality, I reckon that if time travel was possible someone would have come from the future to tell us this! Although maybe it will be possible over short jumps in time in the future!

      But sadly I have to agree with Sarah and say probably not – a scientist from the future or past would probably come and told us about it by now!

      Lots of people really hope it is possible and lots of sci fi films think so too. I don’t think we will ever be able to time travel. If we did manage it we could never go back in time – because the technology wouldn’t be there yet. So no one from the future could ever come back and tell us about it!

      Travelling at light speed makes it seem like you are going back in time. But we could never travel that fast. Einstein hoped we one day could, and thought about it lots!
